- ‘New Duo’ for flute and cello, written for Emmanuel Pahud and Emilia Baranowska, to be premiered in Germany in 2009.
- ‘Flute and percussion’ commissioned by the Cleveland State University, to be premiered in the spring, 2009.
- 'Saxophone concerto' commissioned by the World Saxophone Congress and Augustana College Symphony Orchestra, to be premiered in July, 2009 in Bangkok,Thailand.
- 'Untitled' for flute concerto for the Cleveland Chamber Symphony, to be premiered in the fall, 2009.
- 'One Who Moves Without Direction' for flute, percussion, string quartet, 24 laptop computer orchestra, conductor and calligrapher commissioned by the Stanford University Pacific Rim of Wire Music Festival in April, 29, 2008.
"The Bird", a work for solo flute and 6 traditional Chinese instruments and percussion, premiered to wild success on November 11, 2006 at Merkin Concert Hall in New York City. The piece was composed for the Library of Congress' prestigous Serge Koussevitzky Music Foundation. The recording is available for download on the Music page.

In addition, Ms. Luo's musical drama in two acts entitled "Song
of Unending Sorrow" was recorded on the Licisco Recording label and premiered in Honolulu, Hawaii on March 17th, 2006.
Luo has been working on a variety of new projects, and she is very
excited about all of them, and a productive new year to come.
